We got a two-parter with Heather V. Kreiter's talent for #vtes New York expansion, coming later this year!

Vritra, Queen of the Hudson (or B%¤ch of the Hudson, depending on who you ask) is an anarch overlord who came and conquered a part of New York, ousting both anarchs and Camarilla from her new territory. She is portrayed as a ruthless expansionist, violent and unforgiving, and androgynously compelling - everything you want from a #tzimisce antagonist.

Tzimisce are known for their bodycrafting and forging others and their own flesh to their liking. This has been unfortunately absent in the portrayal of Tzimisce in VTES, so I'm very glad to see Heather's rendition of Vritra pop as it does. The body horror is very present.

The difference in their outfits is something to note. While the original is more regal and classy, while alluring and powerful, Heather's version takes it all the way into punk. The leather vest is stylized, of course, and the spikes on the shoulder pads are contrasted by chains and jewelry, portraying abundance and vanity - both very fitting for Vritra.

Overall, I find Heather's version refreshing and a nod toward the Tzimisce portrayal I believe most would like to see more of. BCP's initial take on Tzimisce in the precon was very downplayed, unfortunately. With Vritra, there's a lot to like
